Sam's #OkinawaBlue is deceptive.
It looks like a regular G&T with some blue Curaçao... But as soon as your lips touch the glass, a wave of umami (reminds me of edamame) hits your nose. It's way way more complex than it looks. In the mouth - fireworks of fruity earthy flavours and you're left wondering what on earth is this magic water.
It's actually watermelon + lemon + pineapple juice that's been painstakingly clarified. The yuzu flavoured salt on the rim goes so well with this. Has to be one of my favourites this year.
